Choosing a Ring Size

There are a few ways to find your ring size. The most accurate is to compare a current ring to ring sizes listed in our Ring Size PDF.

View the Ring Size PDF If you don't have any existing ring to use, there is also another method using string. While this method isn't as accurate (because string can stretch) it will give you a good indication of the size.

Here's how it works:

1. Take a piece of string or paper and wrap it around your finger.

2. Take a pen or pencil and make a mark where the 2 ends meet.

3. Get out a ruler and measure the the distance between the two ends (which is the circumference of your finger).

4. Now, to find the diameter of your finger divide the distance you got from #3 by 3.14.

5. Once you have that you can look at the ring size chart below, check our Ring Size PDF, or contact us and we'll be glad to help you find the right size.

Tips:

• You want your ring to fit comfortably. That means not too tight and not too loose. It should be tight enough that it won't fall off, but loose enough that you can take the ring off whenever you want.

• When sizing your finger, keep in mind, many people experience slight swelling in their fingers when they are warm/ hot. Another thing to take note of is that as we age, our joints tend to expand. Many of our designs are sizeable, but some are not.

• The best way to ensure you select the best fitting ring size is to measure your finger throughout the day. If you do notice some changes let us know how much difference you are seeing and we'll be happy to suggest the appropriate size.

• If you're in a hurry to order and aren't sure of the exact size, it's always best to get a slightly larger size. Any local jeweler can resize your ring when you bring it to them, and the cost is almost always quite minimal.

• If you're going for a wide band, generally 7mm and wider, it's often best to get a larger size, from ¼ to ½ depending on the shape of your fingers. This is especially the case if your fingers are wider at the knuckle.
