Benchmark Wedding Bands

What do you look for in a wedding band? Is it comfort fit? Durability? Benchmark rings are the original comfort fit band. They have been around for 40 years and have a reputation for top quality and service. They are designed for a lifetime. They are die struck for durability, and they come with a lifetime warranty. In fact if your finger size changes down the road, you can get it sized for free! If your ring is looking a little worn, send it in and they will refurbish it and make it like new. All of the diamond bands they offer are precision set which allows more of the diamond surface to show while providing superior security to keep the stones in place. What are you looking for in an engagement ring

Hello Blogosphere! Usually my blogs are kind of one sided, just spewing out information... This time, I am hoping that you'll give me some feedback. With the economy in a pinch, and your upcoming engagement or wedding approaching, what are some ways you are looking to save money on engagement /wedding rings and jewelry? Here are some questions...

1) Will you buy gold instead of platinum, an engagement ring with a smaller diamond, substitute a diamond with a colored gemstone or synthetic stone, get an engagment band with no large stones, or forego an engagement ring altogether?

2) What will you be looking for in wedding bands? Gold, platinum, titanium, tungsten carbide, palladium, or silver?

3) How about wedding day jewelry? Will you make some trade offs to get the jewelry you have always wanted or will you cut back on jewelry to make up for another wedding expense?

We would love to hear from you. Thank you for your time.

Meaningful Jewelry

If you are like most of us during these tough economic times, you are doing whatever you can to make the most of your money. So if you are planning on making a jewelry purchase, make your money go far, but even more important, make the meaning behind the jewelry really count! It isn't always the size of your pocketbook that touches the recipient, but rather the thought and effort put into the jewelry. We love to custom design special pieces for most any budget. Sterling silver, palladium, 14kt gold, 18kt gold, and platinum are all available for a variety of price points. And there is a vast selection of gemstones, each with their own symbolism and significance that can be used. From engagement rings to wedding rings, Valentine's gifts to Mother's Day gifts, birthday gifts to Christmas gifts, we can accommodate your request. If you wanted a special piece that commemorated the place you went on a first date, a piece to remind you of a future goal, a piece that symbolizes your family, a spiritual piece, a memorial piece... we can design it for you or help you find it. Best Wishes for a happy and meaningful 2009!

June Promotions

June Promotions at Elizabeta Jewelry
The color of the month is red, the color of love and passion. Some red gemstones include the ruby, garnet, and spinel. The ruby is July’s birthstone and also the stone used to symbolize the 15th and 40th anniversary. In folklore, the ruby is said to provide protection from misfortune. The garnet is January’s birthstone and it is said to provide protection from evil. The spinel is perhaps the most under -appreciated of all the gemstones. It has often been mistaken for a ruby. In fact, the famous Black Prince’s Ruby (the central stone in the British Imperial State Crown) is actually a spinel. Due to its excellent hardness (8 on the Moh's scale) and high clarity spinel produces fine jewelry in various cuts and shapes. Spinel is never treated in any way and continues to be a great substitute for ruby and sapphire as well as an outstanding stone in its own right. Today fine red spinel is more rare than ruby.
If you are looking for a special piece of jewelry, whether it be an engagement ring or a piece to celebrate another one of life’s special moments, we would be happy to put together some ideas for you. You can incorporate a red spinel, a traditional diamond, or a diamond alternative to make your purchase unique and symbolic. Elizabeta Jewelry is happy to send you the center stone for inspection prior to setting it into a ring.
10% off our entire offering + Elizabeta Jewelry will donate 10% of the purchase price to the Nature Conservancy or CARE – use promo code JUNE10 .
Or free spinel with the purchase of an engagement ring. We will set the stone for you at no charge. Please contact us for information on the available gemstones.

Earth Day - April 22, 2008

Happy Earth Day!
